Renewable Energy sources

Renewable energy
Energy taken from the natural resources that are renewed at a higher rate than they are consumed.
The common renewable energy sources are

1. Sun - Sun light will be converted to electricity by using photovoltaic cells.

2. Wind- Wind force will be converted to electricity with the help of rotating wind turbines.

3. Hydro Energy- Hydro potential energy will be converted to kinetic energy and that energy will be converted to  electricity by using dynamos.

4. Geo thermal energy - Heat energy of the earth's center core will be converted to electricity by sing geothermal plants.

5. Sea waves ( vibration)

These Renewable sources will not affect the environment by emitting harmful gases like methane, carbon dioxide, Nitrous oxide. Converting an energy to another energy is not an easy task. We need to build huge power plants plants, need massive place, manpower and  funds every thing at starting  point. Proper maintenance should be given to those power plants to get clean and green energy.

Some examples for the power plants in UK.

1.  Solar farms

Llanwern solar farm, Newport, Wales: 49.9MW

2.  Wind turbines

Hornsea Two wind MW 1386

3. Hydro Energy Plants

According to British Hydro power association, 30%- 40% of renewable energy coming from the Hydro electric plants
These are the locations of the hydroelectric plants within the UK

 Dinorwig Power Station: 1,728MW

3.Deep- Geo- Thermal energy

UK's first deep geo thermal power plant will be built in Cornwall, South-west England.
