Architect Laurie Olin Laurie Olin, a distinguished teacher, author, and prominent landscape architect, shapes OLIN's iconic projects, spanning from the Washington Monument Grounds to Bryant Park. Notable works, like the AIA award-winning Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia and Simon and Helen Director Park in Portland, showcase his visionary influence. After studying civil engineering at the University of Alaska and later focusing on landscape under Richard Haag at the University of Washington, Olin has now been a practice professor at the University of Pennsylvania for 40 years.
