        The High Line - New York 


A 1.45-mile railway track in Manhattan was transformed into a mixed-use public park in 2009. In my view, that was a great transformation. The elements of the parks are, 
1. Walkways 
2. Benches 
3. Lounges 
4. Perennials 
5. Planting beds 
6. Vegetation ( more than 1200 species ) 

This high-line park attracts more than 7 million people annually.  This high-line park helps to increase the visual impact and attract birds and insects to the park because of their biophilic designs.
