  PWP Landscape architecture 

PWP  landscape architectural firm based in California , USA. The founder of the firm is the well-  known Peter walker. PWP has done many projects with remarkable design strategies. I saw  thumbnail of some of their projects, I've chosen this campus park project because of their aesthetic visual attraction. Quzhou Sports campus located in China. This park campus having some important facilities.There are, 

1. Parks and gardens

2. Aesthetic civil landscape 

3. Campuses 

4. Innovative hubs with hospitality facilities.

Basically, this landscape is designed with variable terrain contours. There is a pond located in the centre of the park. Excess water will go in to the pond during the rain-time. Combination if line and the circle shapes making this landscape better and cool. Campus divided into two phases. Phase 1 starting from the north site of the campus. The massive green carpet illustration is welcoming the people from the north side. Monumental stone paving , six  meter height standing  stone , gymnasium, The sky mirror island are the main element and the parts of the phase 1 of the Quzhou sports campus.

Water drop shaped naturalistic pond with cypress and bamboo trees decorates phase 2 of the sports campus. Water garden for children and the botanical garden and some retail plazas located in the southern part of the sports campus. Bamboo framing is a good approach to the ecological aspect. I have an experience with the sound of the bamboo trees leaves during windy days & this barrier reduces the traffic noise . It creates awesome feelings. I think the group of designers considers the psychological aspects as well during the designing period.
